The Halifax Stamp Duty offer - is back and better than before!

We will pay the full balance of the 1% Stamp Duty Land Tax for first time buyers where the property purchase price is between 125,001 and 250,000. This equates to a cashback of between 1,250 and 2,500 on selected products.
When the purchase price is below 125,001, we will give first time buyers 250 cashback on selected products (this is a new incentive and was not included in last year's campaign).
1% Stamp Duty or 250 cashback is not paid if the purchase price exceeds 250,000.
The payment will be made to the conveyancer within 10 days of completion.
A new 'Stamp Duty Special' product range has been launched to support the campaign. A choice of selected products is available for first time buyers across the core range, Help to Buy (Mortgage Guarantee scheme), and new build products
Please refer to the Rate Guide for the specific range as not all first time buyer products will offer the incentive such as affordable housing, NewBuy and MI New Home.
