SimplyBiz Member and referral partner, Moneysworth, wins Best Specialist Intermediary of the Year

Moneysworth, a broker specialising in finding Life Cover for clients who have medical conditions, complex risk factors and those previously declined cover, has been awarded Best Specialist Intermediary of the Year at the Cover Excellence Awards event held in London earlier this month.

The award acknowledged the firm’s collaborative work with other brokers and insurers to find better solutions for clients with pre-existing health conditions.

Moneysworth assists clients with any health conditions including heart, diabetes, BMI issues, stroke and mental health.

A particularly significant development for Moneysworth is a joint project supported by two other specialist advisers firms, in partnership with Royal London. Together, they designed a new Life Insurance option for people who have had a significant mental health event in the last five years.

So far this has achieved very positive results, offering premiums closer to standard rates to people who would otherwise have been declined cover or only offered premiums at very high rates.

Moneysworth provides a protection-only service for SimplyBiz members who don't have time to deal with complicated protection insurance cases and require specialist assistance.

The firm guarantees no cross-selling to introduced clients, and the introducers receive 30% of the initial commission received.
